To those of us who have been fortunate to have seen you together on stage, we know you are one sensational quartet. My wife fell in love with all of you and so did I. For the two of us, it was one of the most rewarding weekends of our lives, truly unforgettable. We will remember the great time with you the rest of our days and are still basking in the afterglow.

As you know, I was privileged to see your peerless leader [Steve Dougherty] in the original 1991 Los Angeles productions of Final Reunion and, as someone commented to me upon leaving that theater, "that show couldn't have been better had Dustin Hoffman, Al Pacino, John Malkovich and Robert DiNiro played the roles."

After Saturday's performance, which was sensational, I wished I could have stayed on in Bend to watch them all. You gents really pulled it together and I was both grateful and proud to have my name on the program.

I thank you for everything – for making me look good, for the cordiality you showed my wife and myself and for the wonderfully warm feeling engendered in both of us that we were among friends. I was particularly moved when shouts of "Nicco! Nicco! Nicco!" rose from the stage and I was called to share it with you. Though I am not an actor and am a bit uncomfortable standing in a spotlight, I loved that spontaneous onstage moment with you. I wish everyone in the world could experience such comraderie and joy.

It may sound corny, but you touched the stars and the playwrite and the audience.

Thanks again, fellows, a thousandfold. No, a million! Andi joins me in sending our love and appreciation.

Fondest regards,
Nicco Montefeltro
