Announcing New Sun / Craig Richards Design Alliance
In the wake of Sun's recent announcement to embrace Linux, applications that perform reliably in a variety of server environments are becoming even more critical to customers of their high-end computing environments.
Therefore, Sun Microsystems has partnered with Craig Richards Design as part of their iForce program to integrate hardware and software solutions for their customers. For several years, Craig Richards Design's custom-developed CGIs and packaged software titles which include BigSender, Envirolyzer and AdminPro, have been highly regarded solutions for administrators in Sun environments and represent tools that are otherwise impossible to find.
As a component of the new partnership, more Sun administrators and integrators as well as other solution providers in the iForce Partner program will learn of and have greater confidence in the labor-saving solutions from Craig Richards Design.

Oh We're Gone To Oregon – Smooth Move
Relocation of our global headquarters in July from southern California to central Oregon went quite smoothly and, after a few false starts securing broadband internet services from several outfits who said they could but then couldn't, we finally found a vendor who could actually satisfy our reliability requirements and voracious upstream and downstream appetites.
Though a few customers noticed the delay in support services during those few days, we "hit the deck running" and immediately caught up with everyone who had inquiries or had requested assistance – Thank you for your patience with us during our relocation.

BigSender Gets Many Powerful New Features – While Remaining Easy To Use
The popular online list manager and email/web publishing system from Craig Richards Design's software lab has continued to evolve as a must-have web application for those who want to easily send out personlized newletters, e-zines, announcements, media releases, bulletins or for those who otherwise want stay in touch with folks in their contact lists.
In addition to the already powerful functions and easy-to-use features in BigSender 3, recent updates include...
New Unlimited Administrators
Now in addition to the BigSender owner (who has full access to all of BigSender's features and functions after logging in), BigSender lets you set up additional administrators, each with their own unique username and password login – you can also check which administrator functions each administrator may access.
New Automated Bounce Manager
BigSender checks your POP mailbox for bounce notifications, deletes those messages from your inbox, removes the associated recipients from your list then sends a detailed report of all tasks performed to your web browser – all with a click of your mouse.
Email Indicator
When this option is checked, BigSender will automatically check your POP account then indicate in your administrator interface how many messages are waiting.
Remove if Recipient Mailbox Full
An option tells BigSender to remove recipients from your list with reject notifications due to "mailbox full" or "over quota" etc.
Delete All Emails
When you have a POP mailbox dedicated to only handling bounced emails, you can check an option to delete all other emails from that inbox in addition to reject notification emails.
Display Emails
You can set BigSender to display all the messages from your inbox right in your web browser after the Automated Bounce Manager Report.
New Boolean AND or OR Matching
True boolean AND or OR matching and partial matching now apply to administrator searches of your list as well as for targeting your broadcast sessions.
New "Match" Selector Adds Custom Field Values
A handy pulldown selector can automatically add values defined for your Custom Fields into the "match" field in the Message Composer for targeting your broadcasts.
New Default Snapshot
BigSender now lets you set a default Snapshot that automatically pre-loads into your BigSender Message Composer when you click the "compose" button.
New Email Body Background Color Setting
An "email body background" color setting has been added so you can define the background color for your broadcast messages.
New HTML Helper Options
The HTML Helper pulldown selector in the BigSender Message Composer now has many more often-used HTML tags and hex codes for greater convenience when composing the HTML version of your messages.
New View Record Link
A handy new "view" link has been added to each line in the Search/Browse Results that, when clicked, displays that recipient's full record, including their submitted name, email address, label, and all your defined Custom Field values – Now you can view and print the details of any record in your list.
New Date Stamp Custom Fields
For collecting more useful information from your subscribers using form field types such as TEXT, TEXTAREA, SELECT, CHECKBOX, RADIO, PASSWORD and HIDDEN and our special EMAIL field type, two new special Custom Field types have been added: DATE STAMP and DATE STAMP UK. When selected, each new record is saved with a date & time stamp.
Set as DATE STAMP to get the "07/05/2002 12:00:00" (month then day and year) format.
Set as DATE STAMP UK to get the "05/07/2002 12:00:00" (day then month and year) format more popular in Europe.
