BigSender 3x Now Even More Power and Flexibility
Bend, Oregon USA – Craig Richards Design has announced that BigSender, its contact-management and internet publishing system, has been updated with several new features and functions making it even more powerful and easier to use.
"Several of BigSender's newest features are a direct result of requests from our customers," says the firm's founder Craig Richards, "and further demonstrates our ongoing commitment to deliver the most powerful, flexible and easiest-to-use web application of its kind."
Recent enhancements to BigSender 3x include:
New Configurator settings allow list administrators to further customize the Subscriber Form and how the data is collected and saved.
Insert your own JavaScript (for validation, etc.) or other special tag attributes into the Subscriber Form.
Insert your own JavaScript (for validation, etc.) or other special tag attributes into any Custom Field.
Custom Fields such as CHECKBOX, RADIO and SELECT may now save a different value than the text that is displayed in the Subscriber Form.
Rather than one at a time, any quantity of previously-saved BigSender Snapshot messages may now be deleted by clicking the "delete" checkboxes then clicking the "snapshot action" button.
Message Archive Index Display Styles is a new BigSender Configurator setting that lets you select the formatting you prefer for even more compatibility with your website's look and feel.
Significantly improved BigSender's broadcast speed with many administrators now reporting broadcast rates up to 40,000 and more emails per hour.
BigSender's user interfaces and email messages now provide improved support for extended and non-ASCII characters (common in languages other than English).
A new optional "Modify Record" function has been added.
A new setting can insert a "modify" radio button among the "add" and "remove" buttons in the Subscriber Form.
Users can enter their email address, click the "modify" radio button then the "do it" button to modify the information in their record any time.
Administrators may also set BigSender to send an on-modify confirmation email to the recipient and/or the administrator.
When "modify" is turned on, "modify" links are automatically added to the foot of your outgoing messages and also included in the "insert" pulldown selector in the Message Composer so you can easily place that code anywhere within the body of your broadcast message.
Simplified the Subscriber Form by conditionally removing one or more of the add, modify and remove radio buttons during certain functions.
Further refined BigSender-generated messages for greater compatibility on a wider variety of desktop email software, such as Outlook and Outlook Express.
A new feature allows administrators to display only the Message Archive Index when invoking BigSender directly or within any webpage via SSI. [ See Administrator Guide ]
The BigSender Message Composer now features true boolean AND or OR matching and partial matching for targeting and excluding recipients in your list during a broadcast.
BigSender Search now features true boolean AND or OR matching and partial matching for narrowing results while searching through your list's records.
A new handy pulldown selector can automatically add defined values from any Custom Field into the "match" field in the Message Composer.
Now you can set a "default" Snapshot that will automatically load into the BigSender Message Composer when you click your "compose" button.
