Nicholas in his Karate class My Jedi Starfighter... (07/04/2005)

The picture on the left is of a Delta 9 Beta Sprite Class Light Interceptor that I made entirely of Legos. This photo is actually my submission for a contest Legos had in July for the best Star Wars Episode III spaceship – we're still waiting for the results of that contest.

I thought of the design when I was making stuff from Legos in my room. I thought maybe I could go with that design to challenge myself. It didn't really come out the same way I originally imagined; but I thought it looked pretty cool anyway. What do you think?

My Legos Jedi Starfighter set from Episode II really came in handy – most of the details on this new ship came from the one for Episode II.

I created the Lego guy inside the ship from some of my bajillion Legos guys. I think he looks like I would if I were piloting a Starfighter.

I have a new favorite Air Force jet! When I'm in the service, I decided I want to be stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida. That's because F/A-22 Raptors are based there and that is now my favorite!
