If you can surf the web, you can run BigSender! BigSender is designed to run from any computer including Windows 3.1x,95/98/NT/ME/2000/2003/XP/Vista/7, Macintosh, Unix, Linux, Solaris, LindowsOS, Novell Netware, OS/2Warp, OS/2Warp4, A/UX, HP/UX, FreeBSD, AIX, BSD/OS, NextStep, OSF/1, etc., that can run a current web browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. The BigSender Message Composer's HTML Editor plug-in uses advanced JavaScript code which, while supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer 6+ for Windows and Mozilla Firefox for Mac, may not be fully supported by other web browsers in which case you may disable the HTML Editor or the standard built-in HTML Composer may be automatically substituted.

BigSender has been tested on and is approved for use in most webserver environments running Perl 5 including Unix, Linux, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Solaris, IBM, SGI, Novell Netware, OS/2Warp, OS/2Warp4, A/UX, HP/UX, FreeBSD, AIX and Mac OS X Server with a standard installation of the Perl library, ability to connect to an SMTP or other mailserver and socket connections enabled.

Zowie! It's up and running. I was able to get a test email sent to myself in just seconds. The software looks great! A very simple, clean and easy-to-use interface. I send out an e-newsletter to more than 8,000 recipients every week, so I had to find a system that really worked. I tried at least ten and they were awful. They all crashed consistently. And tech support was nonexistant. But I finally found one: BigSender. It really works.
Craig Richards wrote this program and he set it up for me without any additional charge. Since I hate dealing with computers (like cars, I like to go places but hate dealing with car problems), I am very low tech. Craig has been amazingly helpful.
BigSender works off the internet so I can send emails from any computer hooked up to the web, PC or Mac – doesn't matter. We use a bulk email sender around twice a week at the law office where I work. It is a program that sits on the PC. I hate it. It crashes all the time and you have to get into it and problem solve. The crummy program cost my boss $50 whereas BigSender cost around $190 but I think I got a much better deal.

I'm sure BigSender will become a hit. In past weeks, I've tried a lot of listserv and bulk emailing programs but BigSender has all the options I need. BigSender runs on my ISP's server (so I won't have to send 50,000 x 60kb over my cable connection), is much less expensive (I tried Broadc@st that is priced at $2495+), and BigSender has the message personalization options I need. And of course, BigSender is very easy to configure.
