BigSender Administrator Guide
Message Priority
Administrators may optionally set the "priority" header in their outgoing message using a pulldown menu in the BigSender Message Composer.
Valid SMTP protocol have set Highest, High, Normal, Low and Lowest as valid priority settings though some email systems recognize a numeric priority value. For greater universality, BigSender generates messages compatible with either method.
This setting does not affect how quickly your messages are delivered to your recipients Instead, priority information embedded in the message header can affect how that message is sorted, flagged and/or displayed in your recipient's inbox.
Note: Some of your recipients may be using software or a web-based email service provider that ignores priority information embedded in the message header.
