The text you may optionally provide in the "teaser" text field is displayded beneath the subject of your message in the Message Archive – if you check the "archive" checkbox in the Message Composer.

Additional text after a title, often called a tagline or teaser, is usually a sentence or two of text that encapsulates the gist of your message or describes why the story will be of interest to your readers who hopefully will be enticed to find out more by clicking to and reading the story.

Alternately, the "teaser" field may be used as a "byline" to display the author of that message.

You may use any combination of letters and/or numbers and upper and/or lowercase letters are valid. HTML tags are permitted in the teaser for font attributes and even to display small graphics in the Message Archive index you like!

Note: The text you provide in the "teaser" field in the Message Composer is only displayed in your Message Archive and is not included in your outgoing email message. TOP
