BigSender Administrator Guide
Logging into BigSender to
Access its Administrator Functions

The BigSender owner/administrator may choose one of two methods for managing access to its administrator controls: static IP Address or username:password login methods.
The owner access method is set in the Configurator and may be changed from one method to the other any time by the logged-in administrator. The owner/administrator always has full access to BigSender's administrator functions.
If you have set the owner/administrator's access method as username:password in your Configurator settings, and for all other administrators, you have the ability to login and logout as an administrator any time from any internet-connected computer with a web browser that supports cookies.
As the animated image (left) indicates, logging in as the administrator is simple just type your username and password, separated by a colon [ : ], into the email field in the subscription box.
Once validated against the username and password provided in your Configurator settings, a cookie is sent to your browser identifying you as an administrator and, until logout or when that cookie expires, BigSender's administrator controls will be available to you in the main menu / user interface.
If you have set the owner/administrator's access method as static IP Address, you cannot login nor can you logout as BigSender will automatically recognize you as the administrator any time you invoke the application from the computer matching that IP Address.
To choose IP Address security, you must have a "static IP Address" which does not change at any time. Neither you nor anyone else will be able to access BigSender's administrator controls from a computer that is not assigned the IP Address or for whom you have not assigned an administrator account in the Configurator.
Note that "add" and "remove" functions that might normally result in activator request, confirmation and admin notification emails are suspended when performed by the logged-in administrator. If you want those action-triggered emails to be sent, logout first then perform those tasks.
