AdminPro User Guide
Deleting Files and Directories on your remote server
Deleting a File
Click on the "trash" icon in the directory table adjacent to the name of the file you'd like to delete. A popup window may prompt you to confirm the deletion. Click "Cancel" to change your mind or click "OK" to permanently remove the item from the server.
Removing a Directory
Click on the "trash" icon in the directory table adjacent to the name of the directory you'd like to delete. A popup window may prompt you to confirm the deletion. Click "Cancel" to change your mind or click "OK" to permanently remove the item from the server.
The "trash" icon may be dim indicating there are one or more items in that directory. You must enter that directory and remove its contents before AdminPro will permit you to remove that "parent" directory.
To delete any directory whether or not it is empty, AdminPro provides you with a User Preference that allows you to perform "recursive" deletes (remove a directory with contents). Please reference the Setting Preferences page in this User Guide for details.
If the "trash" icon is dim, that file or directory cannot be deleted.
