AdminPro User Guide

Navigating your remote website

>../cgi-bin/   Navigating from the current directory toward the root

The current path from the root is displayed at the top of the Directory Table. Each path is text that can be clicked to navigate up to any directory in the current path including the "root."

When the "mode" User Preference is set for "default," the "root" is the parent directory of your domain or website.

When the "mode" User Preference is set for "administrator," the "root" is the "server root" or the parent of all directories and files.

For details on changing your "mode" User Preference, click here.

folder Navigating child directories from the current directory
Click on a "directory" icon in the Directory Table to enter that directory.

Please note: If AdminPro does not display directories or files when you invoke it, AdminPro cannot perform TOP on your server in "default" mode and you will need to set the "mode" User Preference to "administrator."
